Pamoja Tunaweza Women's Center

History
Pamoja Tunaweza Women's Center was founded in 2008 though a collaboration between KWIECO (Kilimanjaro Women Information Exchange Community Organization) and CACHA (Canada-Africa Community Health Alliance).
The primary goal was to empower women living in poverty, especially those with HIV, to lead healthy and fruitful lives free from violence and oppression.
Pamoja now works in close collaboration with Queen's University, in Kingston, Canada, and with the local medical and social authorities to promote health and health education in Kilimanjaro Region.
